Peptides, explained simply.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Their order and shape help determine what each peptide can do.

Amino acids are small building pieces the body uses in many ways. When several are connected in a particular order, the result is called a peptide. Some peptides act like messages between cells, while others have different biological jobs.

Peptide is a structural category, not a promise of benefit or safety. Insulin is a peptide hormone with established medical uses, while many compounds discussed online have limited human evidence or are not approved medicines. Each peptide has to be evaluated on its own.
