The Molecule Library
You do not need a biology degree to understand what people mean when they talk about peptides, proteins, hormones, vitamins, and other substances involved in the body.
The Molecule Library is a plain-language starting point for substances that appear in wellness, medical, and peptide-research conversations.
A molecule is a group of atoms held together as one unit. That definition is scientifically useful, but it does not tell a normal reader why water, vitamin B12, a peptide, and a protein belong in very different conversations.
We organize this library by the category that is most useful when someone is trying to understand a subject. Choose a starting point below, then follow the individual entries and research questions that matter to you.

Peptides
→Short chains of amino acids that can carry instructions or perform other specific jobs in the body.
Proteins
→Larger amino-acid chains that form structures and perform thousands of jobs throughout the body.
Hormones
→Chemical messages that help coordinate metabolism, growth, reproduction, stress, sleep, and other body functions.
Amino Acids
→Small building pieces used to make peptides and proteins, with some important jobs of their own.
Vitamins
→Nutrients needed in small amounts to keep essential body processes working. Vitamin B12 belongs here.
Enzymes
→Biological tools that help chemical reactions happen fast enough to support life.
Antibodies
→Immune-system proteins that recognize particular targets and help the body respond to them.
Growth Factors
→Signals that influence how certain cells grow, survive, specialize, or repair tissue.

→Plain-language definitions for unfamiliar research and biology terms used throughout Taylor Tides.
The library explains research and terminology. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or make every substance in a category equivalent.

The name of a category cannot tell you whether a particular substance is useful, proven, risky, regulated, or appropriate for a person. Those answers belong on the individual entries inside the Molecule Library.
