Growth Factors, explained simply.

Growth factors are signals that influence what certain cells do, including growth, survival, and repair.

Despite the name, a growth factor does not simply make the whole body grow. Different growth factors act on particular cells and can influence whether those cells divide, survive, change roles, or participate in repair.

Many growth factors are proteins or peptides. Their signaling can be useful, harmful, or both depending on the factor, tissue, dose, and situation, so each one must be understood individually.

Being a peptide, hormone, vitamin, or protein does not prove that something is effective, safe, approved, or suitable for a person.
